Esther graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Political Science. Esther earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University on a full-tuition scholarship. Esther graduated cum laude from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and was awarded the Highest Pro Bono Distinction. During law school, Esther served as Vice President of the ASU Law Christian Legal Society and was a member of the ASU Law Mock Trial Team. Esther was a finalist in the Spritzer Oral Argument Competition, a semi-finalist in the American Bar Association Student Trial Advocacy Competition, and a regional finalist in the American Association of Justice Mock Trial Competition.

In the spring of 2018, Esther was an extern for the Honorable James A. Teilborg of the United States District Court of Arizona. Esther also served as a law clerk for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, the Arizona Governor’s Office, and the Arizona House of Representatives.

PERSONAL INTERESTS/COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Esther and her husband, Mik, have been married since 2013 and have one child.

Esther enjoys painting and singing. Esther has served as a vocalist and worship leader for churches and ministries for many years. In her free time, Esther loves to spend time in her hometown of Payson, Arizona where she enjoys spending time in nature and time with family.

Before obtaining her law degree, Esther was a Financial Manager for the Arizona Department of Economic Security. As a Financial Manager, Esther worked directly with state, local, and federal governmental entities to manage multi-million dollar budgets for Arizona’s Division of Employment and Rehabilitation Services.

Esther has a strong personal interest in public policy and religious liberty.
